The race for nursery seats, in the national capital, will officially kick-start from December 15 and today the private schools have released the eligibility criteria for the admission as per the order of the Directorate of Education of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi for nursery, kindergarten and class 1 admission. 1600 private schools, in the city, have come up with their own criteria and point systems, which will decide the final admission list. Many schools have preferred to take students residing within 1-3 kilometre radius. Sibling quota, parents being alumni of the school, single child, first child are the other important criteria for this year’s admission.
The enrolment process will end in March.

Application submission will continue till January 7 and the first admission list is expected on February 4.
Following a Delhi High Court order, the government has capped the age for the nursery admission this year. The government has set an upper age limit of less than four years to be eligible for nursery, less than five years for kindergarten, and less than six years for admission to Class 1.

25% of the total seats will be reserved for those belonging to economically weaker sections/ disadvantaged groups (EWS/ DG) category.
‘No deviation from the above schedule shall be permitted. Each school shall display the aforesaid admission schedule on its notice board and website,’ the Directorate has said. ‘Each school shall ensure that application forms for admission are made available to all applicants till the last date of submission of admission,’ it added.
Indian consumer goods company, Patanjali Ayurveda is poised to hire over 50,000 people to support the company’s growth and hence will be hosting a mega recruitment drive in different parts of the country.
The Indian conglomerate published an advertisement seeking applications for the various job vacancies in its business. The opportunities are for salespeople who would take charge of Patanjali products in each district. The company plans to hire 40 to 50 salesmen in each region by this year-end. The job opportunity pertains to posts across verticals of the Patanjali brand, including food, personal care, home care, etc.
The remuneration for vacant positions ranges between Rs 8,000 and Rs 15,000. The salary will depend on the city to which candidate belongs to and the applying individual’s educational qualifications.
Patanjali will organize selection and training camps from June 23 to June 27, 2018. Interested candidates have to get themselves registered for the recruitment drive.
Recently, the company was in the news to expand its operations in Goa. Patanjali officials were quoted in media stating that the company is looking to increase its selling network to 5,000 outlets from current 2,200 outlets in Goa. Further, Kamlesh Bandekar, President, Bharat Swabhiman shared in media, “To man the outlets the company will go on a major recruitment drive. Initially, we will recruit about 50 salesmen cum distributors and 100 persons for home delivery. The recruitment drive will boost employment of local youth who can expect a salary of Rs 12,000- Rs 15,000 per month.”
